The whole reason for our family vacation was to be with my oldest brother, Jeremy, and his fiance, Ashley, as they got married. So I guess we have them to thank for this entire adventure. Not a bad deal, I gotta say. :) We flew down on Wednesday, March 3, and met up with my parents who had flown down from Minneapolis. On Thursday, everyone else (Jeremy, Ashley, Avery, Justin, Mindy, Perry, and Ashley's parents) flew down, and we checked in to the rental home we stayed in all week. (Ashley's brother and his family also met up with us on and off again throughout the week.)
I'd like to approach this post from a "stream of consciousness" angle. For time and sanity's sake, it would be too much to try to remember everything in order to post it here. So instead, I've been typing words and phrases as they come to mind as memories of our week-long vacation in Florida. Stay tuned...I'll also be posting a lot of photos that will explain what all of this means.
