ONE!

Reed celebrated his FIRST birthday today.

Perhaps "celebrate" isn't the correct term. Unless you consider flying home from vacation, pancakes for lunch, and a long afternoon nap "celebrating". :)

We have SO MUCH to share about this last week and our time spent in Florida, which included a small birthday celebration last night for Monkey. More on that soon, I promise!

But for today, it was pretty low-key. I didn't have any gifts for him to open as we gave him one last night, and the other was returned to the store. We had gotten him a baby pool float to use on vacation, but because we weren't able to actually use the pool (more on this later) I figured it was more worthwhile to exchange it for something else. We'll continue to celebrate tomorrow when he'll be able to open the rest of his gifts.
