Florida Part II: The House

There was something about this vacation that made me feel pretty fancy.

I think it was this house. :)

Most of us were able to stay here during our week-long vacation. It is a rental home in Cape Coral, situated perfectly on the Caloosahatchee River. With 5000 square feet, it has four bedrooms, four and a half baths, and a TON of amenities. Apparently, in 1992, it was on the market for $850,000, the most expensive property in Cape Coral. I wonder how much it's worth today???

(Forgive the "lived-in" nature of the house...I should have taken these photos when we first arrived but instead took them the day before we left. I think you can tell we had a good time. :) )

The "great room" as you enter the front door.

Stairs leading to the Master Suite.
