Picture of the Day, Week 50

We got our first significant snowfall today. We started the day in a "Winter Advisory" and ended the day in a "Blizzard Warning." We ended up with this. I can still see grass!!! You call this a blizzard?!?! Come on...I'm from Minnesota, for cryin' out loud! Lame-O.

If I were ever to put "favorite" and "chore" in the same phrase, laundry would be it. Specifically, the boys' laundry. I have to wash their clothes every 7-9 days, and there's something so sweet (and relaxing) about folding these little things.

Drew's been working on this for the past couple weeks at preschool. He brought it home wrapped, but told us to open it. He then told us that Mrs. Bland told him it should go under the tree! :) So so sweet. Our first homemade gift made at school!

Squinty smiley eyes.
It's genetic.

Uh, yeah. There's not much to say about this one...

Today's Advent activity was to go look at the Christmas lights.
But really I'm including this just because I find this picture pretty darn cool.

We made gingerbread houses this morning. It's the first time we've done this.
Verdict: Best.Christmas.activity.ever.
